Paradise Festival was a chance to celebrate a tropical greenhouse in the middle of winter.

Every year Planting Fields Foundation sponsors Paradise Festival in late January as a respite for the Long Island community from the long cold winter. Within the sprawling tropical greenhouses of the estate, communities come together to get warm and enjoy the site. In 2020, the Foundation hosted a community arts activity for the first time. The rainforest community mural allowed visitors of all ages to reflect on their noticings from the greenhouse, enjoy a moment of creativity among the sounds of the jungle, and leave behind a collaborative work of art.
