A Response to Isolation

As Director of Education and Engagement of Planting Fields Foundation in 2020, Rheanna had the unique task of converting the Foundation’s place-based school programming to self-guided, non-sequential, educational opportunities. Learning Kits afforded teachers and students from anywhere in the world an opportunity to engage in the site. Utilizing video, activities, and teacher guides, these kits offered school communities a point of contact in an incredibly isolated moment. All components of these experiences were made from scratch in a matter of weeks, and received high praise from regional educational leaders.
